And I am back! Officially. But I hate to break it to you, not too much to share! I’ve been a bad blogger and I’ve taken it easy on the photography while I’ve been feeling.. not so myself. I wish I could fill you guys in but as I’m sure you know, some things you just got to keep private. Some things are still not exactly peachy but onwards and upwards!
A delicious cereal bowl of Quaker Oatmeal Squares, bananas, blueberries, and chia seeds.
Oh, and milk was added after the picture, as to avoid cereal sogginess.
Something I’ve been addicted to lately?
A peanut butter and jelly on toasted wheat! I don’t know? But it’s OH so good!
And what is life without a treat once in a while?
A brownie topped with a bit of low fat vanilla ice cream!
And life without waffles? I think not!
Blueberry whole grain waffles topped with syzup!
And some bananas!
Another cereal bowl..
Um, pretty much the same as above.
More waffles..
And more..
And yes, my current photography spot is on the floor. Don’t judge..
And another current obsession?
Peanut butter smoothie. This one had plain greek yogurt, peanut butter, Jay Robb’s vanilla protein powder, a frozen banana (what took me so long to get on the frozen banana bandwagon?!) and milk.
A yogurt mess!
Chobani lemon yogurt, blueberries, Kashi cereal, and granola.
And breakfast today.. Kashi Heart to Heart, peanut butter, and milk.
Sans the banana, as we were out. Thank goodness I stocked up this afternoon!
And that’s about it for today!! Part III to come soon!
And I hope everyone had a great 4th!!! As I had ZERO plans, please tell me what sorts of fun you had so I can live vicariously!
PB&J on toast = amazing, no question about it. PB&J on cinnamon swirl bread = out of this world!!
no matter how many pictures of waffles I see on your page, they always make me drool. What brand do you use again?
I spent the fourth with my parents this year. Go big or go home, right?!
Rarely will I ever have any kind of sandwich with bread that is untoasted. Truth.
ahh these meals look amaaaaazing- you’ve got me craving waffles & maple syrup..
If it makes you feel any better, I didn’t have any plans for the 4th, either
I just ended up tanning for most of the afternoon and vegging on the couch with a good book in the evening.
And is it weird to eat toasted bread with PB&J? I don’t think I’ve ever tried it without toasting first!
I always, always crave waffles after I’ve read your blog. Now if only a craving led to the £££ to afford a waffle maker, I’d be sorted….
Hope you’re ok lovely!
I come to your blog for waffles
– do you use a waffle maker?
Life is meh. Very much meh. But I guess that’s life. Love that quote in your previous post – and your so pretty! Glowing.
I like that you blog sporadically and don’t feel “pressured” to do it daily or “keep up with the Jones” so to speak.
Nomnomnom!
Your Peanut Butter is in the shape of a HEART! How amazing is that! Girl, you are my inspiration.
I love how much you love waffles!! I haven’t had any in awhile, but I need to change that. And plain old PB&J is the BOMB!!
We did not do anything either, We chilled out, its nice to relax, plus our big fireworks are not until the 16th here!
Gosh, those waffles are looking really delicious right now! And I have some blueberry syrup that is calling to me from the fridge…
Good to hear from you!!! We had a mellow long weekend, but this weekend we have a friend’s wedding which should be a crazy, good time!
Thanks for makin’ us a part of your delicious day of eats! We’re going to have to get that smoothie recipe from you. Yummo! If you’re on Twitter, maybe you can tweet it to us? @Chobani– chat soon!
