It’s been a good day (knock furiously on wood). I was running late this morning and barely made it to class on time (also almost ran out of gas) only to find that class is canceled :/ Thanks for the heads up Professor! BUT that means my spring started a few days earlier… here’s to no classes for a week and a half!

I also had planned to get up a little early this morning to go for a run (something I used to do all of the time). And then I woke up and my hip was aching really badly so I made the executive decision to forgo the run to prevent worsening the pain (something I’ve FINALLY learned to do). Instead of going back to bed, however, I did 30 minutes of stretching and ab work.. go me! And I must say that my hip felt SO much better after a little stretching. And you know.. getting up a little early wasn’t so bad. I’m going to try to make this a regular thing on busy days so I get a little bit of exercise in. Something is better than nothing!

Another thing that made my day? No class meant a TJ’s run! It’s been far too long… I came out with:

Lunch yesterday involved a new item I received from Tostitos through the Foodbuzz Tastemaker’s Program (how much do I LOVE this program?!) … their artisan recipes chips. First up was the Fire-Roasted Chipotle!

And the chips? I approve!! I thought they faintly tasted like Doritos. My boyfriend, however, said they tasted like pizza. He ate almost all of the bag. He hated them, obviously 😉
